This tipping spoon type rain sensor is accurate to 1mm of rain fall. When your Heron controller is connected to a rain gauge you will be able to reduce programs run times by 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% based on the amount of rain that has fallen over the past 1 4 days. Note: The rain sensor has no effect on manual valve starts.
