Handsomely over-delivers
Black fruits
there are notes of oatmeal on the palate
Crisp acidity adds tension and freshness
The nose shows cassis and blackberry aromas with subtle cedary oak and the palate has a silky mouthfeel with sweet berry flavours and a lovely lingering finish
Calo Rioja Tempranillo georg-breuer Handsomely over-deliversUn oaked red from winemaker Javier Murua out of Rioja. As always, the packaging is spot on. Its the kind of wine that would service a broad population with ease. Welcome addition in the mix of Spanish, affordable alternatives in Australia. Friday night office drinks here we come! Ripe berry fruit scents, raspberry, strawberry, then dark chocolate, a dusting of coffee, faint new leather scent, green olive. Lots going on in an ostensibly simple wine
