and Erin Mitchell and Randy Czech's hands-off approach in the cellar lets the site speak for itself
The fruit based brandies and eau di vie they make are ethereal and transcendent

Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2023 051826OFFER Marcel Lapierre took real risksLes Preuses sits at the warmer, sunnier end of the Grand Cru hill, and the wines that come off it tend to be the most aromatic and openly expressive of the seven. Fevre's 2023 plays exactly to that strength: a lifted nose of white flowers, citrus, acacia blossom, iodine and shellfish, then a creamy, sappy mid palate with real density underneath. Less coiled than Les Clos, more immediately seductive, but with the structure to age for a decade plus.
