VANILJE SUKKER ingerfær Spices have historically been aVanilla sugar with ground Sri Lankan vanilla from the forest gardens of Sri Lanka. The vanilla content corresponds to approximately 2 vanilla pods. Our Sri Lankan vanilla is a Planifolia vanilla, also known from Madagascar and Uganda, and is celebrated for its extraordinary richness of flavour. The vanilla grows and thrives in wild forest gardens and is cultivated by small farmers around the city of Kandy and in the mountains of the Nuwara Eliya area.
