If you connect a 10K thermistor to the THERM pin you can also use it to read the battery pack temperature - our packs do not come with a built in thermistor but many do

this shield can't do that (the I2C expander does not have PWM output)

The Torxis servo's strength makes it suitable for applications that are too demanding even for giant-scale servos

There is another version of 2x2A motor shield (Twin) which uses different pins to avoid conflicting pin allocation

Note that the default servo pulse widths (usually 1ms to 2ms) will not give a full range of motion on this servo
