Basseterre 1997 Rhum Vieux de Guadaloupe Winslow The winemaking takes place usingDistilled in April 1997 at the Montebello distillery, this Basseterre rum is composed of a blend of agricultural rhums and traditional rums. Aging for 9 years (until 2006) in a tropical climate is followed by a period of refinement in barrels for a further 2 years. Gold coloured, intense and bright to the eye. The nose is particularly elegant and complex, characterized by hints of sweet spices, cardamom, anise, dried bananas, oak and chestnut honey.
