This is a reconstruction of the Roman legionary belt

Buckle and fittings follow historical examples from the time, although this one is belt equipped with a clasp with a normal pin instead of the pin plate that is common in the find material from that period. The belt in black leather with buckle and fittings brass is long enough to wear tied, as was customary in Merovingian times.
