to barbecue directly on the grill or to bake food on the square piece of metal

The pommel is crafted in typical early medieval style with red enamel in cloisonné (small brass compartments into which the molten glass is poured)

so that it remains securely in place

Viking and Slavic peoples had a great love of granulated jewellery, which was worn across Europe, all the way to Russia. Originally, such jewels were made by soldering each part individually onto the amulet. This piece has been cast in one piece and is therefore more affordably priced.
